Canım Çok Sıkılıyor! Boş Zamandan Sıkılma, Boş Zaman Kısıtları ve Boş Zaman Deneyimi Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme

Psikolojik iyi oluş için boş zaman oldukça önemli ve gereklidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı boş zamandan sıkılma, boş zaman kısıtları ve boş zaman deneyimi arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmektir. Boş zamandan sıkılma ve boş zaman kısıtları ile ilgili yazın sistematik olarak incelenerek bir literatür haritası sunulmuştur. Boş zaman kısıtlarına yönelik araştırmaların çoğunlukla hiyerarşik boş zaman kısıtları modeli üzerine yoğunlaştığı saptanmıştır. Benzer şekilde boş zamandan sıkılma araştırmaları boş zamandan sıkılma ölçeği ile sorgulanmış olsa da farklı değişkenler tercih edilmiştir. Bu değişkenler psikolojik, davranışsal, demografik, kişilik özellikleri ve sağlık ile ilişkilidir. Sonuç olarak, boş zamandan sıkılma ve boş zaman kısıtlarının boş zaman deneyimi üzerindeki etkisini açıklayan bir model önerilmiştir. Bu modelde boş zamandan sıkılma ve boş zaman kısıtları değişkenlerinde öne çıkan kavram bireysel psikoloji temelli süreçlerdir. Bu ilişkinin şimdiye kadar göz ardı edildiği tespit edildiğinden bu noktada araştırmanın ilgili yazına katkısından bahsedilebilir. Araştırmacı, aile, otorite ve politika yapıcılar başta olmak üzere boş zaman paydaşlarına öneriler sunulmuştur.
